Hyemi Jo (she/her) is from South Korea and is Deaf. She works as an artist, activist, and web designer in Berlin. Hyemi is involved in political activities that enhance the visibility and strengthen the voices of the Deaf community, and she also creates performances focused on Deaf culture. She enjoys the diversity that Berlin embodies, specifically the intersection of Asian, Queer and Deaf communities.
